Joanna Krupa is a model, actress and reality TV star. She started her career with cameo roles on movies such as the 2001 “Planet of the Apes” and comedy flick “Legally Blonde.” She then worked as a dancer for “The Man Show” from 2002 to 2003. Also in 2003, Joanna Krupa had a small role in the movie “No Shoes, No Mercy,” followed by a guest appearance on the 2004 “Las Vegas” episode entitled “Degas Away with It” and a cameo on the film “Max Havoc: Curse of the Dragon.”
In 2005, Joanna Krupa appeared on the movie “Mercenary,” followed by the 2006 film “The Dog Problem” and a came on the hit flick “Scary Movie 4.” Also in 2006, Krupa made an appearance on the TV series “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” on the episode “Kiss-Kiss, Bye-Bye.” During this time, Joanna Krupa has been making a name for herself in the fashion world, appearing on numerous magazine covers including Maxim, FHM, ENVY, Stuff, Teeze, Steppin’ Out, Personal, Inside Sport and Playboy.
Maxim magazine has included Joanna Krupa on its ‘Hot 100’ lists for several years – she ranked #78 in 2005, #61 in 2006 and #66 in 2007. Maxim has also named her the ‘Sexiest Swimsuit Model in the World.’ In 2004 and 2005, Krupa was voted as German Maxim’s ‘Model of the Year.’ On Stuff magazine’s 2006 to 2007 pin-up calendar, Joanna was featured on the April 2007 entry.
Joanna Krupa is also a lingerie model for retail store “Frederick’s of Hollywood.” In December 2007, she became a ‘Miss Howard TV model’ for the month. That same year, Krupa also made an appearance on two films – “Ripple Effect” and “Skinner Box.”
2009 was a big year for Joanna Krupa. Aside from appearing on the TV show “Superstars” and “Million Dollar Challenge,” she showed off her dancing skills on the ninth season of “Dancing with the stars.” Since Krupa had taken ballet lessons as a child, it wasn’t hard for her to wake up her dancing toes, especially since her partner on the show was one-time champion Derek Hough. Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough were voted off after 9 weeks of competing, finishing at 4th place.
Also in 2009, Joanna Krupa was featured on Manon’s dance single “I’ll Be Around.” After appearing in three ads for the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals in the past, Joanna appeared on a campaign against wearing fur in a December 2009 PETA advertisement.
